Tacky Tourist Day

Tomorrow, August 20, is tacky tourist day. Your child may come dressed as a “tacky” tourist.

Event Information

That Kid Training

That Kid Training is a workshop for parents and anyone else who works with children. It comes highly recommended by one of our board members. Can you invite someone to come? Please do. This is open to the community. It starts at 10am and we will break for lunch and it will conclude at 1:30pm. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP so that we can get a good count for lunch.

The goals of the training are to:

  • Help people understand trauma and the impact it has on people’s lives.
  • Help people feel more knowledgeable and equipped to deal with the complex realities that they may encounter when ministering to those who have experienced trauma.
  • Give practical skills to ministry staff and volunteers.
  • Bring Glory to God as everything is done from a Biblical perspective.

Mulch is on the Playground

A BIG Shout out to Logan and Josh for starting and finishing the mulch pile. Logan started at 1pm on Thursday hauling mulch to the playground and finally stopped around 6:30pm. On Friday, Josh came and finished hauling and spreading the rest of the mulch.

HUGE THANKS to Ms. Rebekah, Emmanuel, Van, Anna, and Lisa for coming out on Thursday to mulch. It was hot and we accomplished a lot in a short amount of time.

I really appreciate all those that came out and helped mulch. Many thanks.

Open House

Open house took place on Saturday, August 10th from 10am-11am. Many families came out and met the staff and saw the new carpets and fresh paint in the classrooms. We also had a good turn out on

Friday for picking up shirts and paperwork.
