That Kid Training
This Saturday, October 26
That Kid Training is a workshop for parents and anyone else who works with children. It comes highly recommended by one of our board members. It starts at 10am and we will break for lunch and it will conclude at 1:30pm. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to 941 374 2052, so that we can get a good count for lunch.
The goals of the training are to:
- Help people understand trauma and the impact it has on people’s lives.
- Help people feel more knowledgeable and equipped to deal with the complex realities that they may encounter when ministering to those who have experienced trauma.
- Give practical skills to ministry staff and volunteers.
- Bring Glory to God as everything is done from a Biblical perspective.

Hurricane Cleanup at the Church
Thank you, Ian, for coming out this past Saturday, October 19, to assist the church with cleaning up after the hurricane. The church family appreciated your hard work and time spent helping.
Picture Day is November 4, 2024
We will be taking student pictures on November 4, 2024. We will start at 8:30am. We will send home an order form next week. Your order form is due on the day pictures are taken. We will call you and let you know we have the proofs and you can come in and view and choose the picture. When Ms. Monica receives our list of pictures, she will order them. Please notice that the last line in each package has a this or that. Please circle which one you would like (4×6 or wallets).
Revised 2024-2025 School Calendar
We have sent home the revised school calendar for this year. We are following Sarasota County Schools revision for make-up days due to hurricanes. The make-up days are in the 2025 section of the calendar.
